With the exciting field of data science at the center of the University’s 2013-18 strategic plan, Rochester researchers are harnessing the potential of data in ways that will transform knowledge, discovery, and innovation in the 21st century. Join us as we formally dedicate the hub for data science at Rochester in honor of its benefactors.
Wegmans Hall, named in recognition of support from the Wegman Family Foundation, will serve as a state-of-the-art home for the new Goergen Institute for Data Science, named in recognition of support from Trustee Robert B. Goergen ’60 and his wife, Pamela. The building will be an anchor for the new Edmund A. Hajim Science and Engineering Quadrangle.
