Recent Surgical Specialty Collaborations

At the Center for Medical Technology and Innovation (CMTI), we are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with experienced clinicians in various surgical specialties. These collaborations have been instrumental in developing innovative medical devices that improve patient outcomes and advance the field of medicine. We are proud to work with these experts who bring their wealth of knowledge and experience to the CMTI students’ projects.

Our collaborations with surgical specialists have allowed our MS students to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and needs of patients undergoing various surgical procedures. This knowledge has informed their approach to medical device design and has helped them develop devices that are safe, effective, and tailored to the specific needs of patients and clinicians. We are grateful for the trust and support of these specialists, and we look forward to continuing our partnerships in educating the minds  of aspiring biomedical engineers and entrepreneurs!
