2017 Alumni of the CMTI program, Ian Baranowski, was recently hired by local startup LighTopTech in High Tech Rochester. Ian is working to help LighTopTech develop its new standard in rapid nondestructive high-resolution imaging using a proprietary biomimetic microscope design with liquid lens technology. Ian was an integral member of the Cardiovascular group in 2017 that worked on a customized retraction device used in heart surgery. Ian was an entrepreneurial student that was always eager to work in the startup community. This position couldn’t be more perfect for him! We wish Ian well in his new endeavors at LighTopTech!
