Mahllet Beyene coordinates all activities of the Center for Medical Technology & Innovation, including providing administrative support for the Masters Degree and the Senior Design programs. She is involved in recruiting, processing applications, orientation, and registration processes for students in the MS program. In addition, she helps to coordinate the CMTI’s interactions with industry and the medical center. Once prototyping is underway, Mahllet assists with ordering and reimbursement for equipment and supplies for both programs. With a B.S. in Marketing and several years of event coordination experience, Mahllet is a great resource for students as they develop business models for their designs.
