Visiting companies like Welch Allyn/Hill Rom help students appreciate where they will fit into the industry. Students met with John Lane (Director of Electrical Eng. and Tech. Development) and Dave Rider (Senior Manager, New Healthcare Delivery Solutions) and learned about how large companies innovate new products by having engineers interact directly with clinicians and healthcare providers.
