The triumphant trio - Stephen Wells, Hadi Wehbe, and Lucas Lassinger - claimed first place at the AIN Center competition, showcasing their brilliance as CMTI Master's students. Their game-changing STMedical solution, a safe trocar insertion method, wowed the judges and secured them a well-deserved $500 prize!

Their innovative ORIF device captivated the judges, earning them a fantastic $250 reward. Professor Greg Gdowski has nearly 30 years of biomedical engineering experience and is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Rochester. He is also the Executive Director of the Center for Medical Technology & Innovation which is a program designed for master’s students to foster new ideas at the intersection of medicine, technology, and entrepreneurship.
