On August 13th, CMTI students, faculty, and staff enjoyed an insightful tour at QuidelOrtho led by Phil Bryan, a Senior Global Product Manager for the company’s Clinical Laboratory Menu team. Following an overview of QuidelOrtho’s solutions and business segments by Phil, Rufus Brey, Senior Manager Equipment Operations, provided a comprehensive tour of the manufacturing site, offering a firsthand look at the MicroWell immunoassay production.
To conclude the tour, Stephanie Tanck, also a Senior Global Product Manager, introduced us to the Experience Center, showcasing the Vitros Instrument portfolio.

After our tour, we enjoyed the 80 degree weather at our local beach!
Our summer term is filled with workshops, surgeries to watch, and presentations. However, we always make an effort to spend quality time beyond the classrooms and operating rooms.
